Clicks on images listed under Top Posts & Pages

Some of today’s clicks on images are appearing in my stats under Top Posts & Pages instead of Clicks. So far a total of 9, with all the images being in the same post. What’s going on?

Impossible to say. The images in question no longer appear on either the Clicks list or the Top Posts & Pages list, but it wouldn’t take long at all for them to be pushed off both lists by subsequent views and clicks.

Are you referring to the image “‘Hand painted’ animals by Guido Daniele”?
I do see page clicks for that image in your top posts and pages. the clicks are going to the attachment page:

So that could explain the discrepancy.

FYI, if you want to see all of the clicks or page views for a day, you can click “View All” at the bottom of the list. This will open up a view that shows you everything for that day, not just your most popular posts/pages/clicks.

The links may go to an attachment page because all the images are part of a slideshow.
However, repeating, in all the views and clicks listed in my stats for today, the items no longer appear. They do appear in yesterday’s stats. However, when I reported them yesterday, the images were being listed like individual posts under Top Posts, not listed under the post title like today. Thanks for clarifying.
Since everything is back to where it’s supposed to be for now, I don’t think there is anything else for us to do. If you continue to see strangeness that lasts for more than a day, let me know and we can look at this again.
