Clicky, don’t know if put right code in the text widget

  I am not sure exactly what code to put in the text widget for Clicky. I had a few lines of code from Clicky, and looked at the forum and thought I put in the part of the code that the forum said to put in. At first I saw the little Clicky icon on my blog’s home page. But, I accidentally had put text for a title of that widget and wanted to delete that title. When I did, I could no longer see the Clicky icon on my home page.

  I looked at the previous forum thread about this, but I don’t understand exactly what characters I’m supposed to be putting in the text widget area. I’ve read in a couple of places to use the “last line” but I’m not even sure what the last line is.

  Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

  Clicky is an analytics program for visitor tracking that we can’t use of wordpress.com blogs. But we can use the HTML version of “getclicky” http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/06/getclicky-real-time-stats-for-wordpress-com-blogs/

  WordPress.com is a type of shared environment, where all users are running off of the same software so there are some restrictions you can read about like (Code, Embeds, Flash, HTML, Javascript) http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  The reason you can’t see the code you are putting in is that the software is stripping it out to preserve security. Having all users running on the same software can be dangerous. If we aren’t careful, one user has the potential to take down the entire site. So this is why there are restrictions when it comes to things we can post on wordpress.com blogs.

  There are also other third party visitor tracking programs we can use on our blogs here. Some are real time tracking systems and some aren’t. I’ve reviewed several. Maybe you would prefer one of them.
