Client cannot unsubscribe – I cannot find him when I search people.

    Our website has 30000+ subscribers and followers. One client just emailed asking to be removed – he tried using the link and it only asked him to set up an account with WordPress (which he does not want to do). I cannot find him when I search the people tab on WordPress toolbar using his email address, or his name. Are there any suggestions? Is there anyone from WordPress that I can speak to on this?
