  I would like to add a client portal to my website. Can I do this with WordPress or do I need a separate software?

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  To have clients log into their own accounts on your site you’ll need a membership plugin. Using plugins on WordPress.com requires our Business Plan.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help from the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.
