Clipped long captions for pics
-
I have the option of filling in the caption field for pics for the blog using quite a bit of text, but the text on the right of the field comes out clipped. Letters on the very far end of some words are missing. Is there a ‘center’ function I’m missing or am I just using the caption field in a way it was not meant to be used and expecting too much here?
Thanks in advance.

That’s because the image tool doesn’t take into account the frame around the images. You need to go to Settings > Media, set the width for the Large option to 438 and the height to 0, save changes; then select the Large instead of the Full Size option when inserting full-width images.

I’m don’t why the above solution worked for one pic and not the other. And the pic it worked for contained more text. What am I missing?

Okay. I winged it, fiddling with the width (in a couple of places within the coding, which I didn’t see at first) until the pic caption turned out okay (middle pic of the 3 lower pics). I have no idea what’s going on here. But all’s (reasonably) well that ends well.
