In my clips page how do I get my articles to not be back to back. I want the viewer to be able to click on it then be able to read it.

Hi there, I’m not entirely sure what you’re referring to when you say “back-to-back,” but if you want to display a small portion of your post and then have visitors click through to the full post, have you checked out the “More” tag? https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/
You can insert it wherever you wish to make the break. This tag can be used selectively on long posts, but it will affect each post where you’ve used it, including the site blog front page, archives, etc.
Another possibility is if your theme supports Content Options in the Customizer, which will display only post excerpts rather than the full post.
Using the More tag won’t affect the Reader or what is sent out by email to your Followers or what appears in an RSS Feed. That will continue to show the full post. If you want to change emails and your site’s RSS feed (for feed readers like Feedly) you can change your settings in Site Settings>Writing>Feed Settings.

For some reason I am trying to add articles to my clips page but when I upload the link and click update it doesn’t show up. Is there a reason why this might be happening?

Hello again, when you Publish any new blog post, it is automatically added to your Clips page at https://danimasten20.wordpress.com/blog/
As a volunteer, I cannot see the back end of your site. Please share with us the title or link of the clip/blog post that should appear there.
