Clocks
-
The widgets do not include a clock (at least not one that I found).
This (respectable) site offers a free one: http://www.timeanddate.com/
Some time ago I tried to install one of these on my computer itself and something was missing or some such thing, so I’m definitely not sure of what I’m doing.
I would like my three readers to have a clock handy. Now, I know there’s one in the tray and probably one on almost everyone’s wrist and also on almost everyone’s wall. However, the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) has simple a one inch clock in the upper right of it’s home page and I think it’s super professional.
Any good suggestions would be appreciated.
(Just incidentally, the BBC clock feeds in your time where ever you are even if you are not logged in.)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As for a clock, almost all are based on dynamic scripts (javascript) and we cannot use them on our blogs. Frankly as we all have clocks on our computers and as each blogger can set their own timezone on their blog here > Settings > General I don’t consider that to be a significant loss.
The only clock I know of that we can use on wordpress.com blogs is this one http://www.al-habib.info/islamic-clock/digital-clock-ornament-button-01.htm
I became aware of it in this thread > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/countdown-widget-1?replies=21#post-398111

Really? Well I guess we have to disagree on that because when I see clocks on blogs I wonder why they are leaking PageRank and hits to 3rd party sites when all of us already have clocks on our computers. Remember that every 3rd party widget you place in your sidebar loads every time your blog loads, and that means the 3rd party providers also get a hit.

Well, ahem, that I did not fully realize, but lemme just explain some more for the sake of the considering and suggestions…. (?)
“The birthplace of aviation” (home) is worth the time of at least some people. An efficiency apartment in Kentucky (actual physical location), isn’t.
While there is occasional non-expert drift into the relatively important, most often the thing to do is make an old folks’ home interesting. Writing is essential; but, even with that anything that can add a bit more to a sort of boring creation is worthwhile. And, if it’s a good gadget, what’s the harm in one more hit when millions are needed?
The clock in the link above is pretty and Indonesian is probably okay, but my audience of three (sometimes four) was taught to read time on analog clocks, where there’s a visual impact of the hour. That doesn’t mean they can’t use something else (they know enough to get online and chase around the world), it’s just that we all relate to some things more than others.
Analog clock? Somehow?

I posted the link to the only clock I know of that will work on a wordpress.com blog. Perhaps other volunteers are aware of an analog clock that will work on a owrdpress.com blog. If so I’m sure they will post into the thread.
In the meanwhile you could search the internet to see if you can find an analog clock that does not contain restricted code that will be stripped out by wordpress.com software.
