cloned account? Two identical blogs and disappearing posts and pages

Hello.
I’ve only been on WordPress for a couple of days now, but am by no means computer illiterate.
Yesterday I created the blog thirdplacebrighton.wordpress.com and I’ve been having trouble ever since.
Firstly, It seems that somehow I have two identical blogs with the same name, This doesn’t bother me as much as it confuses me.
Secondly, and most importantly, My content keeps disappearing, reverting to previous versions of itself and generally causing me a great deal of concern.
Today I have both created, published and subsequently lost pages named;
Reading list, Groups, which was a parent of the pages: products and services, labour, finance and premises
I’ve also lost a post titled “site Update”.
As I type this they have all reappeared but based on yesterdays weird behaviour (the same as this) I’m left uncertain how long they will be around.
Is this connected to the two Thirdplacebrighton blogs I can see in the top right drop down menu (labeled Joseph) or is this something else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can see only one post on your blog. You’re doing something wrong. Please be specific while asking a question here.
You can not have two blogs with same url.

I know you can only see the one post, but there were two posts and 6 extra pages. For some reason while I was away from the computer it has decided to revert to the state it was in yesterday, loosing a days work.
Here’s a couple of screen grabs of what I mean about multiple accounts.

And now it seems to be back.

Um, sorry, but it is a .com site. The address is thirdplacebrighton.wordpress.COM , Its a blog managed and hosted by WordPress.COM and I signed up for it on wordpress.COM
For what its worth, it seems to have lost all of the posts again.

I forgot to mention im using the “chunk” theme. If that makes any difference.
I also have the Android app, though I will get rid of that to see if that helps. -
Oh, sorry, I see now that the link was directed to a screen shot.
Is it possible that you do have two blogs with slightly different names? I was such a novice when I started that I accidently made 2 blogs with one letter different in the links. Now I use the “bad” one for testing…
When you hover over your name (top right of the screen) what blogs do you see listed there?

I see what you mean tess, but both names are identical. Also changing one causes the other to change, I’m pretty sure they are the same thing twice rather than two seperate blogs.
I wanted to delete one of them to see if that would solve the problem but I’m pretty sure it would destroy everything.

My advice is delete nothing. Report this to Staff and wait patiently for them to help you.
