  Hi i would like to clone or duplicate my wordpress.org website and move the copy over to wordpress. I will be keeping my original website.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you trying to move the blog fwmodels.WordPress.com to a WordPress.org install on a private server?

  Hi no I’ve got another wordpress.org website with lots of content and images – new formatting etc I want to keep it there but copy it and put a version up on wordpress.com to to be able to adapt the copy and try things out.

  Here is the link with info on exporting an xml file from WordPress.com. I know you want to do it the other way round but I presume the procedure is similar at WordPress.org. Remember it is only the content that transfers. Not the theme and changes you may have made to it.
