Close a WordPress blog after the death of my sister

  Hello,
  my sister died a few months ago. I would like to close her wordpress blog but i don’t know how to do it.

  Please can you explain the process,

  Thanks for you response but i don’t wish give the url of the blog because i want avoid every message or comment “post mortem” on this blog.
  I would like just know what is the process, if there is a special support, for example, for this kind of request…

  Alex, do you have access to her blog (username and password?) or perhaps to the email address she would have used?

  No unfortunately i haven’t username / password or email.

  the url is like http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.wordpress.com

  I have closed her Facebook, linkedin, etc… account. There wasn’t any problem, just a an application form, and i enclosed the death certificate, my ID card etc..

  so do you know the process to close the account of a deceased person?

  If you had the login information, then we could have helped you close it the normal way, but without that, this will be something staff will have to address. Hopefully they will be back around soon to reply and figure something out for you.

  Wait till they respond and tell you how they would like you to contact them, and what they will need, and that way they will be on the lookout for it.
