  Hi, i need to close one of my account, i have another wordpress using the same email, will it affect my the other account

  Hi there,

  Closing account and deleting a single site.
  These are two different things.

  You can not have two wordpress.com account with same email id, till my knowledge.

  But closing wordpress.com account will delete all the site associated with that username.

  For eg. If you have two WordPress site, you can delete one of the sites without affecting the other site.

  Hi @asiaventures,

  Your WordPress.com account is email based. Which essentially means that under one email account you can add multiple WordPress.com sites.

  Your Email based WordPress.com account is the main account under which you can add multiple sites.

  So, you have the option to delete each individual site under your account. This will just delete the site and would not affect or delete your account or the other sites under the account.

  Hope that clarifies the doubt for you.

  Pointer: Here is the official link that mentions closing your WordPress.com account. Please note that when you close an account, all the websites under that account gets deleted.
