  I did what I was suppose to do to close the account but won’t allow me to click ‘close account’ only cancel is available, which cancelled my wanting to cancel / close account

  Yes it is the one I want to close. It is not what I thought it was. Very sorry.
  How do I close it please?

  Do you have any upgrades/purchases on your account? If you do, you’d need to have those canceled first before you can attempt to close your account. You can manage purchases here:
