  I’d like to close the account as our business is no longer running.

  Hi there,

  To be able to close your account I need to downgrade your site which was on the Business plan. This process will delete all of your site’s data so I need your confirmation before proceeding.

  @greenforkfoods this is done. You’re welcome to start over with this as a free site, or keep it for later by making it private.

  Or, if you definitely want to delete it, you can do that here:
  https://wordpress.com/settings

  If you’re unsure, just make it private (on the same screen) and you can reuse it later.
