  Hi I followed the steps already to close the account and it still tells me to contact customer service, there is no button to close the account.

  The site I need help with is jd7basketball.wordpress.com.

  It looks like we need to downgrade the site you had a WordPress.com Business plan on before you’ll be able to close your account.

  In order to do this, we’ll need to downgrade the site jd7basketballcom.wpcomstaging.com first. To downgrade the site, we must confirm that you understand:

  1. Any content (pages, posts, media, comments, etc) added after adding outside themes and plugins will be lost.

  2. Any custom content created by plugins and themes will not be carried over.

  3. Plugins and third-party themes can no longer be used.

  4. The site will revert to using the old theme.

  Please make backups, and ensure you have your content ready to re-upload if needed. We can proceed once you’ve confirmed.
