  Hi there,

  I see your site used to be on our Business Plan where you had plugins or a custom theme installed on the site, https://test86066389.wpcomstaging.com/

  Before you can close your account, we’ll first need to properly downgrade it back to the free plan, so that it can be deleted. This will remove all plugins and third party themes you still have installed, and there is also a risk that any content you added since you first installed plugins may be lost during this process.

  Even if you plan to delete the site, please confirm that you understand this if you want us to proceed with this process.

  Thanks for confirming. I’ve reverted the site, so you should now be able to close your username account from the account settings page:
