Hello, I want to permanently close my account here. I do not use it often, for I am very busy. How can I please do that?

Is there any chance you would want to use your website address/username in the future? If so, you may want to consider setting your site to private instead of getting rid of your account:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/User accounts cannot be deleted because WordPress.com doesn’t want somebody else using your name in the future. If you want to permanently get rid of your account, you can take the following steps:
- Empty all the content from your site:

Note: Deleting a site permanently removes it and this action cannot be undone. You will not be able to reuse the website address again in the future.

Visit the your Subscription Settings page and click the box that says, Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com.
