Close Account/Refund

    I need to close my account (which I was sure was already done) and get a refund. I have done everything suggested. The problem is whenever I try to go into my account, the account I am trying to close does not exist.

    HI there,

    An “account” refers to a WordPress.com username, like the brashbeginnings account you’re using to post here. You can close an account from the Account Settings page at https://wordpress.com/me/account/, but the account you’re using to post here has never bought any upgrades from us and only owns the free site, http://brashbeginnings.wordpress.com/

    If you own a paid plan on WordPress.com, it is on a different site that belongs to another username account. In that case you’ll need to log out of the brashbeginnings account, and log back in as the account that owns the other site, and which you used to buy the plan you’re trying to cancel.
