    My name is Epi. I started to use WordPress in August 2021. I have already paid two months for WordPress. Currently, I am now so busy using it and want temporary to close my account but I couldn’t remember exactly the email & password to log in. Can you help me to check this problem? My ID transaction: 8772733049.Thanks

    Hi Epi,

    Please don’t post sensitive information like transaction IDs here in the public support forums.

    That said, the number you provided above is not a transaction ID, but the billing telephone number we’re required to include in the statement descriptor for payments.

    What is the URL of the site for which you’d bought the upgrades?

    If you don’t remember the login details for the account that owns your upgrades, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/. On our account recovery form you can provide a transaction ID privately and securely, and then someone will be in touch via email to help you regain access to your account.

    Hi Epi,

    Could you please let us know whether you have paid only for two months or a year as WordPress provides only an annual or a two-year plan? Are you sure you want to close your account as doing so will delete all of the sites that you own and all their contents?
    Also, you have to cancel active purchases before you can close your account. After a few weeks, the data will be entirely purged from our system and at this point, the process cannot be reversed.
    I would suggest you make your website private as this will keep your domain and site available for your future use and not available to others to view if you wish to hide that from others.

    WordPress provides only an annual or a two-year plan?

    We sell both annual and monthly plan options on WordPress.com :)

    Be careful of using “WordPress” and “WordPress.com” interchangeably. “WordPress” refers to the open source software made by the community on WordPress.org. We use that software here on WordPress.com, but we’re not the same thing as the software, so it’s best to use the correct terminology to avoid confusing people.
