  Hi there!

  If we cancel your domain (thefishandchic.com), it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.

  If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > My Domains in your dashboard.

  However, if you don’t want this domain at all, I can cancel it for you, if you confirm your request for me. This cannot be undone, so please consider carefully before you confirm the cancellation.

  Thanks a lot for your reply. I’ve checked with the other provider and i need that you put the domain in unlock status otherwise i cannot transfer the domain. I need also the auth code (codice autoritativo) useful for the transfer.

  Hi Francesca, In order to unlock your site and get your authorization code, please click here:
  https://thefishandchic.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains
  Click the Transfer Domain button.

  You will select both:

  • Disable the Domain Lock to allow it to be transferred.
  • Disable Private Registration. I understand that my contact details will be publicly available during the transfer period.

  Click the button to Email Transfer Code. Your code will be sent your domain admin email address.
