  I would like to close my account. I would like it to be removed so that others can not access it at all. However, I wanted to know if I close it, does that mean all the content will disappear. That’s fine, if it does. I would just like to make sure I copy anything I’d like to keep in my own files. Thanks

  Deleting your site deletes all content so personally, I would just go to “Settings” and make the site Private. Then no one could see it but yourself.

  Hi –

  Yes, everything will be gone. In order to close the account you first have to delete your sites.

  30 days after a site is deleted it’s permanently gone – we can’t restore the name or anything that was posted to it.

  You’ll want to save anything of importance before you proceed.

  Hi, Can you explain how to change the settings to Private, so I’m the only one who can see it?

  Click on “My Site”, scroll down on the left to “Settings”, scroll down on the right to tick “Private”. Don’t forget to click “save settings”.

  Right. No one will be able to view the site unless you specifically authorize them to do so.
