Close my account and be refunded

  I thought I closed my account a long time ago. I was charged $114. Can I please delete my account and be refunded that money?

  Hi there,

  What is the URL of the site you were charged for? It’s not possible to close an account with active upgrades, and when you close an account you credit card details are completely deleted, so it’s impossible that you could have been charged for a closed account. If you’ve been charged it’s for a site with active upgradesm that still exists, in an account that still exists.

  If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. You can also use the Contact Us link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.
