Close myWeb website and use that URL for WordPress website

    Hello,

    I am using myWeb for my website. I would like to use WordPress, but is it possible to use my current URL? Is it possible the close my website that i have via myWeb and use that URL for a WordPress website?

    Hi there!

    What’s the current URL of your website? If it’s a custom domain, you can certainly use it with your WordPress.com site. We have two ways you can use a custom domain on WordPress.com:

    1. Transfer the domain to us. If the domain is eligible for transfer, you can transfer its registration to WordPress.com so you pay for both the domain and the WordPress.com plan (or hosting) at the same place.
    2. Domain Connection. This is used when you don’t want to transfer the domain to us but still use it with your WordPress.com site.

    May I ask what are some of the features you use on your site that you’d like to have after transferring it to WordPress.com? I ask because it will help me understand your site requirements and suggest a WordPress.com plan. A plan adds hosting features to your WordPress.com site and allows you to use your own domain.
