Close old wordpress page

  Hi
  I created a page back in 2006 and I forgot the password and the Email is no longer accessible. How do I close this page down? I hope anyone can help me with this, please?

  I’m going to tag WordPress.com staff to confirm the account who owns the website, and then we can work from there.

  If so, once the account is confirmed, please log out of your current one and into that account. If you’ve forgotten the details, please follow the Account Recovery process: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  Assuming you don’t have access to a transaction ID, it might be difficult to get the activation URL needed on that form, so would it be possible to speak to your email provider about recovering it?

  Hi, you’ll need to log in as vphermes. I don’t see any transactions to verify, so if you can’t remember the password and wouldn’t have an activation URL in old emails, please do consider trying to get the email back so you can regain access that way.
