    Hello,

    I bought a domain and name with you for my web page.
    It is http://www.thejarphotography.com
    But I dont want to work with wordpress any longer.
    I already start working with format but in order to use the same name I guess I need to cancel this one.
    What do I have to do?

    Hi there!

    If you’d like to continue using that domain name, it’s best not to cancel. Cancelled domains are treated almost exactly like expired domains, and they’re difficult to get back.

    Better options would be one of these:

    1. Change the Name Servers: You would continue to own and control the domain here at WordPress.com, but it would point to another hosting service of your choice.
    2. Transfer the Domain to Another Registrar: You can move the domain name to the registrar of your choice, so that way you don’t need to use WordPress.com to manage the domain at all. Many hosting providers accept incoming domain transfers, but some do not, so check the support documentation of the service you plan to use.
