  the close function doesn’t work. as if you didn’t already know that. close the account

  Hi there,

  The account you’re using to post here is brand new, and was created only an hour before you posted this forum thread.

  If this is the account you’re trying to delete, you can do so from the Account Settings page at https://wordpress.com/me/account

  I don’t see anything that would prevent you from deleting this account, so if that doesn’t work, please let me know exactly what’s happening, and what errors you’re seeing, if any.

  For security reasons we cannot close an account for you. Only the account owner, logged into the account, has the ability to close it.
