  Hi there,

  If you wish to delete a free hosted WordPress.com account, you must be logged in under the same username. Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use it.

  Also, If you are referring to closing your WordPress.com account, you can do so by clicking the links on your Account Settings page (https://wordpress.com/me/account) and following the instructions on the page.

  Please note that you will lose all the sites you own and their contents when you close your account. Within a few weeks, the data will be removed entirely from the system, and at this point, this cannot be undone.

  If you have an active WordPress.com plan or upgrade, you must cancel these purchases before your account can be closed.
