I want to close a website that I created with wordpress.com. However, I used the same email address to create another wordpress website through an hosting company. When I was closing my first website, I’ve read ‘You will not be able to open a new WordPress.com account using the same email address for 30 days’. Does it affect the second website that I created?

That said, you can safely delete the site tomorrowjournalmaastricht.wordpress.com, it will not affect any site you have hosted elsewhere.

My new site is .com and it is hosted by another company. So, even if I used the same email address for this new site and for the one that I want to delete, I can delete it without loosing the new one. Right?

Deleting a site on a WordPress.com server here won’t affect a site that is hosted somewhere else at a different company on a different server.
