  If I close my WordPress blog account will it have any effect on my WordPress website?

  Please remember

  Usernames Cannot be Re-used After Closure
  While all data associated with an account is removed during a closure, the username is blocked from being registered again, in order to prevent impersonation.

  Hi there,

  If the website you’re referring to is osephdrumheller.wordpress.com, then yes, closing your WordPress.com account will also delete that site.

  If your site is hosted elsewhere though, then closing your WordPress.com account won’t have any effect on it.
