Hello – I just wrote on this forum about email notifications that I’m having trouble with. When I clicked to submit the new topic, it said the topic is closed. I can’t get at it, which means no one else can either. Did I post it wrong? Can someone please help me out? I need to get my WordPress issue addressed.
Thank you,

I just tried again and cannot get my issue to post in this forum. I’m always polite when asking for help, because I know that you all have a lot on your hands, but this is very frustrating. Please someone help me out.
Thanks,

Hi – Thanks for the quick response. I consulted that site at the link, and I’ve done all those things requested. Hopefully this will work. Below is the issue I’m having along with links. Thanks again, Lori
Hello – I am not receiving daily email notifications from several of the blogs I follow. I hope they are receiving notifications from mine. I am pasting the links again below, but there might be more. If someone can help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lori,
One thing I would suggest checking is how often you are subscribed to notifications for the sites you follow. You can check/edit this from the following page:
https://wordpress.com/following/edit/If you could also let us know if you are getting some emails but not not all that would be helpful as well.
Thanks!

Hi bdukes – Yes, I checked them all before and they are all scheduled for daily notifications. I think it has been a few days for some of those. I still haven’t received any of them as I type this out.
Thank you.

Hi Lori,
Maybe to rephrase my question. Let’s say you’re subscribed to 10 sites (I’m making things up for the purpose of example) are you getting emails from say 8 of them but not the other 2 or are you getting no emails at all?
Thanks.

Hi bdukes,
Looking back in my email box, I see that I haven’t received any new notifications since last week. The only one I received this week was on Tuesday, and that is a paid for WordPress site (aussalorens.com). So, I’d say it looks like I’m not receiving any .wordpress blog notifications. Since some of them don’t post as often, I didn’t even realize it until you asked. I can’t be sure of the exact date because I didn’t have time to scroll through all of my email box, but it looks like I haven’t received any since somewhere between June 15 & 17.
I appreciate the help. Let me know if this answers your question. Thanks.

Hi Lori,
I just checked your account and noticed you are blocking all email notifications from WordPress.com ;)
To allow notifications to be sent you’ll want to visit your account’s notification settings on this page:
https://wordpress.com/me/notificationsUncheck the box at the bottom that says “Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com”. Here is a screenshot of that setting:
https://cloudup.com/i2F0VHYwEsrOnce you’ve updated this setting your notifications will return.

Hi bdukes,
Thanks for finding that. I’ve been receiving emails from WordPress all along (before this issue). I didn’t even go into that screen to change anything. I wonder how it got changed.
Anyway, I saved the new setting.
Thanks again,
