Closing a wordpress site

  I’ve tried to close the wordpress site https://martintrinity.wordpress.com following instructions but I don’t see the option to delete site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Closing a site doesn’t necessarily involve deleting the site. Some less final alternatives are listed in the Alternative Options section of the Delete Site support page. Making your site private can effectively close it to all activity, with the exception perhaps of visits to the site by the site owner or another administrator.

  You’ll find instructions for deleting a site in the Permanently Deleting Your Site section of the Delete Site support page.
  At My Site > Settings (General), if you’re an administrator on the site, you’ll find a link under Site Tools labeled “Delete your site permanently.” Clicking on that link will take you to this page: https://wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/martintrinity.wordpress.com
