closing account

Today I registered a blog to WordPress and purchased a domain name in the same time. I saw only later that I cannot use this blog for my purposes, so I need to close it and to have the domain made available to Blogger.
There I found another problem: the domain is missing the “www” part and thus I don’t know how to proceed to transfer it.
If it is not possible, then please cancel it at once and give me back the money I paid.
The transaction has been made a few hours ago, thus within the tems.
Thank you.

P.S.: I probably did something wrong as now my domain has been accepted by Blogger, but still can’t modify the blog …… sorry about that by I am quite new in this kind of stuff!

Hi there,
I wouldn’t recommend canceling the domain if you intend to use it elsewhere. If you do cancel, there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register that domain again.
Since Blogger doesn’t host DNS, and you can’t edit root-level A records here at WordPress.com, you’ll need to transfer your domain name to a different registrar:

In the meantime, let us know if there’s anything we can do to help you with your site here at WordPress.com

Thank you, but as far as I can see Blogger host DNS, the problem is that I do not understand their instructions which includes the creation of a CNAME (http://www.google.com/support/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=it&answer=58317#other) and I do not understand yours in this respect.
I entered the Domain Manager by following the instructions of the link that you gave me, but once there I’m lost….
Anyhow, the new blog created in Blogger already point to my domain name, so maybe things can be fixed, with a little help from your side.
I do not think that you can do something about the site here at WordPress because I realized too late that the purpose of this site is not allowed, as to say I am promoting products and online business. Unfortunately I got to read about this when searching instructions on how to post banners. This is a pity because I really wanted to change from Blogger where I host another blog, particularly because it is very very difficoult to have any kind of assistance if some problem occur.

Hi there,
Unfortunately Blogger doesn’t host DNS — the instructions you linked are applicable only if you’d like to map a subdomain (like blog.yourdomain.com) to your Blogger site.
Otherwise, I’m afraid that you’ll have to wait for sixty days after the purchase of your domain, and transfer it to a registrar that will allow you full control over your DNS.
You have another option, however. You could self-host the free WordPress software, and just run your site off one of the hosting providers recommended here:
http://get.wp.com/hosting/Learn more about the differences between WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/We can’t offer support for self-hosted WordPress installations here, but there’s a lot of helpful people in the WordPress.org forums:

I already checked that possibility, but for now, as a beginner, I’m better off with a simple free platform and hosting.
I’ll wait until tomorrow (here is already very late), to see what happens to the blog in Blogger and I will decide from there.
Thanks.

Good morning,
as expected I did not receive any reply from Blogger as yet.
I also feel that I don’t need a domain name parked for 2 months and I do not like the fact that I purchased it without having full control of it.
So please proceed to cancellation and refund as I asked yesterday.
I rather accept the challenge of loosing it then feeling tighted up.
Thanks for your co-operation.
Regards.
