  Hello, I want to close this account as I’m no longer teaching this subject, plus I need my email address back for another wordpress site. Thank you.

  Don’t forget you won’t be able to ever use the same account name and you’ll have to wait 30 days before you can use the email address with a different account: https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/

  your WordPress.com account can have several websites, if you no longer need a website in your account, you can delete it by following the guidelines on here:

  Delete a Website

  However, if you wish to delete your account altogether, meaning, your username, websites and all content associated with it will be purged from WordPress, you can find more info on the link below:
