Closing Account

  Last November I transferred my domain name to the Shopify platform and created a new site there. I never deleted the site on WordPress or closed my account. I’m ready to do that now; but there were so many warnings as I tried to do it that I want to be sure that by shutting everything down with WordPress will not affect the site I have up and running now. Thanks for your help.

  Your domain is registered elsewhere, and your site is hosted elsewhere, so you won’t lose that by closing your account here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/
