closing account

  i am about to close my account @tashuk I have transfer info onto a hosted wordpress site. Will there be any influence on these, after closing wp .com?

  Hi there:

  Pulling up your account, it looks like you have the website alanlodge.co.uk connected to this WordPress.com account through the Jetpack plugin.

  Since Jetpack requires a connection to a WordPress.com account to function properly, if you delete your WordPress.com account, you’ll also break the functionality of Jetpack on that site.

  If you no longer want to use Jetpack on that site, you’ll need to disconnect it and delete it from your site prior to deleting your WordPress.com user account.
