Closing Account

    Hi, I opened an account so I could purchase a subscription plug in to send to our developer. I now no longer need this account. Is it ok to close it or will the subscription plugin be removed from my actual site (the developers have done on a different account)?

    Hi there,

    Are you speaking of the plugin you bought from WooCommerce.com, where you log in using this WordPress.com account?

    Deleting this WordPress.com account will not cause that plugin to stop working, but it will delete your connected WooCommerce.com account. And that means you won’t be able to contact support for help with that plugin should it be necessary. It will also prevent you from renewing your license for that plugin next year, which means you won’t receive software updates for the plugin any more.

    So in this case I would not recommend deleting your WordPress.com account.
