  Have not used this particular WordPress site for well over a decade. The group folded. Would like to delete it but am active on another WordPress not owned by me… I hav e my own login for the other account..

  Hi there,

  Closing your llangford account will delete all sites you own via this account, and it will also remove you as a user on any other sites where you’ve been added via this username.

  If you’re a member of a site where you log in using a different username/login credentials, then that site is likely using the open source version of WordPress at another host, in which case it has no connection at all to this WordPress.com account. Deleting your WordPress.com account will have no effect on your ability to access the other site in that case.

  To give you a more definite answer, we’ll need to know the URL of the site, though.

  Also note that you can delete individual sites in your account, without deleting the account itself. You can find the steps to do that here:
