Closing account

  Hi I’m paying an annual fee for a dot com and want to close down all my wordpress accounts and gravatars. How do I do this?

  The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff). This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

  Hi there,

  You can close the WordPress.com account you’re currently logged into from the account settings page:

  https://wordpress.com/me/account

  If you have more than one account, you’ll need to repeat this process for each one. After 30 days all data from the account is permanently deleted from our servers, including the Gravatar profile you have linked to the specific account.

  I don’t see any paid upgrades in the account you’re using to post here – if you have paid upgrades under a different account, you’ll need to cancel those before you’ll be able to close that account. You can do that from the Purchases page, as long as you’re logged into the correct account:
