Closing Account

  I would like to close my WordPress account, but there is a message saying that doing so ‘ will remove your account along with all your sites and all their content’. Is that strictly WordPress information, or does it include my Google account also? I seem to remember that years ago WordPress was a part of Google, but I don’t know if the accounts are connected. I want to get rid of WordPress, but not my Google account.

  No, it would be only the content that you have put here on WordPress.com.

  Thank you so much for getting back to me. I can now delete my WordPress account without worrying. I’ve just never used the account for anything (I haven’t looked at it in years), and recently I got a message saying my password was changed, and I didn’t change it. So I will just delete it and then I won’t have to worry about it anymore. Thanks again!
