    Will closing this account affect creating a new with with my Just Host account?

    Hi there,

    If you’re self-hosting your new site, it shouldn’t have any impact on closing the account here as your account on WordPress.com and other self-hosted sites are separate entities and independent from each other.

    However, if you plan to use Jetpack plugin for your self-hosted site, then you need to have a WordPress.com account.
