Closing account capost1k, NOT capost2k
-
Your stupid site keeps directing me to capost5k or capost1k though these were ‘dummy’ sites I created to explore how to set up my home page differently on my capost2k.wordpress.com site. Now I cannot get into capost2k at all since deleting capost5k.
-
Hi, there’s sites, then there’s accounts (usernames). Try logging out at https://wordpress.com/me/account, then logging in as the other username. Then let us know if you need more help.
-
Tried this already, but the username requires the password to the (email visible only to moderators and staff) account. Then WP throws me back to capost1k! VERY aggravating, especially after I PAID to upgrade! Triply annoying that I cannot get anyone from WP to delelte the capost1k and KEEP capost2k.

Staff can see your email addresses, but for privacy reasons they are hidden from other people’s view.

@capost1k we are happy to help, but only as long as you stick to the community standards. I understand that not being able to reach your account is frustrating, but calling us names will certainly not help anyone.
Your site capost2k.wordpress.com was created under a different account then the obe you’re logged into –
capost1k. You will need to log out from that obe and log back in using the correct email address. If you do not remember which email address you used – try looking for your upgrade receipt. It was sent to the account in question.
If you’re still having problems, you can email our Account Recovery team at
passwordhelp@wordpress.com– they will need the transaction ID to help you regain access to the account:https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#retrieving-a-transaction-id

“then the obe you’re logged into – capost1k”
What does this mean!? What is an obe?
Please accept my apologies for referring to the idiots at WP, but as you acknowledge, this is very frustrating.
I created capost1k, capost5k and capost4k under the capost2k user id.
But when I try to get back to capost2k, wp always dumped me back to the other accounts. I deleted capost4k and capost5k, but still got stuck at capost1k and did now want to delete it because the ‘warning’ on the account says everything will be gone, and I do not wish to lose the previous blogs from capost2k.Okay, I successfully logged in using the id capost2k instead of (email visible only to moderators and staff).
I previously requested the deletion of the “dummy accounts” and was sent an email telling me wp had RESTORED the dummy accounts. :-(
That is what was most aggravating. The fact that you replied specifically to my insulting remark at least assured me (I think) I had the attention of an actual person and not just a bot. thanx, c.a. -

“then the obe you’re logged into – capost1k”
Probably just a typo of “one” .
capost1k is not deleted but you are now logged into capost2k.
And none of us are bots here. Thanks.
-
Genuinely, please accept my apologies for my anger at what I thought were “bot” answers. I really did not think a human was reading my complaints, and all y’all were kinda slow on catching on. After all, the request to delete the ‘dummy’ accounts I had set up was responded to with a reinstatement of dummy accounts I was deleting.
capost1k, capost4k and capost5k are no longer in existence and this is appreciated.
yours truly,
