  I moved to shopify from wordpress/woocommerce but retained my original domain. Is it okay o close my account here on wordpress and will not affect my shopify store?

  Hi there, if you aren’t going to use jetpack on your new site, you’ll want to disconnect it first before deleting your account here. https://wordpress.com/support/disconnect-jetpack-sites/

  Once you’ve done that, follow this guide to closing your account: https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/

  Keep in mind that it won’t be possible to reuse the same username in the future.

  Post back here if you have any other question about this prior to deleting.
