Closing an account

  I have an account I opened up on my own but then my company opened an account. I now want to close the account I opened on my own and only have access to the company account. They both use the same email — if I cancel this account will it affect my access to the company account?

  You can’t create two accounts with the same email address at WordPress.com. So it sounds like the other account is for a site hosted elsewhere. So you can close this WordPress.com account if you’re sure you’ll never want it or the site address attached to it again.
