Closing an account

  First of all, sorry if I make any mistakes; English is not my native language. I want to close my account because I plan on starting a new one, but I don’t know how to do it. Can anyone help me?

  Hi there!

  You are only able to delete your site and all its content. You are not able to delete your account.

  In order to be able to delete your blog, please follow these steps:

  1- Visit your site’s settings page by clicking on My Sites and then click on Settings.

  2 – Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page, and select Delete Site .

  3 – You will first be presented with the option to export your content. Once you delete your site, this content won’t be recoverable, so it’s smart to export the content to a .zip file before taking any further steps. You can do so by clicking the Export Content button.

  4- Finally, click on the Delete Site button. Confirm the deletion, then click the Delete This Site button.

  While you aren’t exactly able to delete your account itself, you can clear out your site and remove your personal information from it. This will prevent any access to the account, and basically render it fully inactive and inaccessible. You’ll find more information on this here.
