Closing down a blog
-
I currently have a blog. When I decide to stop blogging, what happens to the blog? Can people continue to write comments even if I don’t add posts?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you decide to stop blogging you can leave your site right where it is and it will hopefully stay visible on the Interweb for years to come/the Martians invade/WordPress.com closes down/the end of the world, whichever comes first. If you don’t want any further comments you can close comments at “Settings” “Discussion”. Or you could just set your site to Private. No one would see it anymore (once search engine caches were cleared) but it would still be there in case you decided to start blogging again in the future.

Please ignore what I posted above. You are asking in the WordPress.com support forum. I see that docmartinlovers.com. is hosted by BlueHost so it will only stay on the Internet as long as you keep renewing the domain. Of course you can still enable/disable comments there too though.
