Closing my account

    I’d like to close my account effective immediately. I haven’t gotten in to blogging, as I thought I would, I would rather not be continued to be billed for something I’m no longer using. I’ve had no issues with your employees, and I wish you continued success. Thanks for the help!

    1. What is the domain URL?
    2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
    3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
    4. When was the upgrade purchased?
    5. When did the refund request and upgrade cancellation, or the domain expiration take place?

    Unfortunately, you failed to provide any details. Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

    What are the specifics please?

    Which username account and site URL does this relate to?

    Hi @tjbigs, I don’t know whether you have another account, but this one has no sites and no upgrades.

    If you need to remove upgrades or sites, please log into the correct account. You can use the email address that gets renewal reminders.
