Closing My Account

  I have a wordpress.org account that is hosted through bluehost. I am not sure why i also have a wordpress.com account but there is no information on here. If I delete my wordpress.com account will my self-hosted website through wordpress.org be deleted as well? Is there any correlation between .org and .com?
