Closing My account and don’t want to pay current charges

    I have had a wordpress account for my son for several years. I received a new debit card at the end of last year and didn’t update it on wordpress, and yet somehow I have still been charged for another year, which I don’t want. I do not want to pay the current charges incurred today and would like to close this account.
