closing my account down

  Can someone please advise me on how to close my blog down for good please?

  I have checked the usual places but i couldn’t find anything related to this matter.

  Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

  Hello,
  WordPress.com doesn’t have the option to delete an account, but you can cancel email notifications and remove your personal information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  As to your blog, you can set it to private so it’s no longer visible to anyone. Go to Settings > Reading and tick the box next to “I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose”. Then click “Save Changes” at the bottom.   If you’d rather delete your blog, go to Tools > Delete Site. Note that this action is permanent. You won’t be able to use the domain again. More info: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
