closing site

Your page says ‘It will remove your account along with all your sites and all their content.’ That is completely unrelated to my issue. I have a long-standing self-hosted site that is my public presence. Something directed me to WordPress.com where I accidentally wound up with (email visible only to moderators and staff). I DO NOT PARTICIPATE ON WORDPRESS.COM. It would be good if you could remove that incomplete site entirely. Above all, DO NOT TOUCH my self-hosted .org site! THANK YOU

  • Hi there,

kentbusse.wordpress.com is the only WordPress.com site in your account, and it looks like you created it yesterday – the site is only 17 hours old. If you don’t want that site, go to My Sites ->Switch Site and select that site. Then go to Manage ->Settings. You’ll find the Delete Site option at the bottom of that screen.

Only a logged-in admin on the site can delete it. We cannot do this on your behalf.

You have a WordPress.com account because you are using the Jetpack plugin on three of your sites. Closing your WordPress.com account will not delete those sites, but it will cause all features added by the Jetpack plugin to stop working.
