    Hi, I started this account in 2016, but then literally did nothing with it. I am now wanting to start a blog in earnest (have had a few kids go away to college, so should have more time) and was going to just delete this one and start over. Any reason I shouldn’t? I’m going to use a different email address anyway.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Make sure you are logged into the account that has admin privileges to the website. Go to My Sites -> Settings, then scroll down to Site Tools and select “Delete your site permanently”.

    Please be aware that if you delete a site you will not be able to get it back and no one else will be able to use that site address.

    Deleting it deactivates the address for at least 2 years. Better to make the site private if you might change your mind.

    Just so you are aware, deleting a site is permanent. If there’s a chance you may want to use that address again in the future, the site can be marked private instead.

    Once you delete your site you can’t have the same domain name. Read the link below –
